Crystelle, the traveling midwife, taught herself to bake to cope with the stresses of nursing school. As a practitioner, she developed a midwifery specialty and has delivered over 400 babies in her career. She believes that all good births stem from well-fed mothers so she brings a special baked good to each of her home deliveries. She specializes in what she calls Birthday Cakes which celebrate the entire birthing process from beginning to end.
