Kate B. learned to bake at her father’s elbow and he still influences much of what she chooses to make and how she chooses to make it.. She has used baking as a way to make friends and get to know people. She likes to infuse her bakes with color and cheer and optimism to reflect her personality. Her bakes tend to be as pretty as she is. Because of her mother, she went into the field of Aerospace Engineering so, yes, as a matter of fact, she is a rocket scientist.
