Ruth and her wife co-own a pet psychiatry practice where all manner of animals can come for restorative mental health treatment of the body and soul. She started out baking solely pet-friendly foods reminiscent of her favorite Sci-Fi characters, but has since expanded to serving people as well. Her patients are often her harshest critics as well as her greatest fans. Ruth’s personal motto is "Paws and Pastries make for a balanced mind and an open heart."
